High Temperature Oil
High Temperature Conveyor Chain Oil
High Temperature Oil is a fully synthetic chain lubricant developed for industrial mechanisms exposed to elevated temperatures. Based on the Chaintop XL product range, it is intended for transport and drive chains, oven chains, drying tunnels and other applications operating between 250 and 300 °C.
Its formulation is designed to maintain effective lubrication while limiting carbon residue formation within the recommended temperature range. This helps keep chain mechanisms cleaner and supports reliable movement where lubricant deposits can interfere with operation. Supported chain designs include roller, leaf, Galle, bushing and inverted-tooth chains, together with sliding and plain guides.
High Temperature Oil
The datasheet lists two grades, XL and XL 100, with different viscosity and physical-property values. Grade selection should follow the equipment manufacturer’s lubrication requirements. Relubrication must be adjusted to the actual application temperature to maintain a suitable lubricating film. Use below 250 °C may cause deposits; applications above 300 °C fall outside the stated recommendation.
Key Features oven chain oil
Fully Synthetic Formulation
Developed specifically for chains and related mechanisms exposed to high operating temperatures.
Defined High-Temperature Application Range
Recommended for chain service between 250 and 300 °C. The operating conditions must be matched to this range when selecting the lubricant.
Reduced Carbon Residue Formation
Designed to minimize carbon buildup when used correctly, helping maintain cleaner chains and reducing deposit-related interference with chain movement.
Thermal Stability and Wear Protection
Combines high-temperature lubrication performance with anti-wear properties. The datasheet includes four-ball wear results for each grade.
Multiple Chain and Guide Applications
Suitable for the chain types and guide mechanisms listed in the datasheet, including roller, leaf, Galle, bushing and inverted-tooth chains.
Two Distinct Viscosity Options
XL has a viscosity of 270 CSt at 40 °C; XL 100 has a viscosity of 100 CSt at 40 °C. These are separate grades and should be selected according to equipment requirements.
Configurations / Grades
XL: Higher-viscosity option in this datasheet, with 270 cSt at 40 °C and 28 cSt at 100 °C.
XL 100: Lower-viscosity option in this datasheet, with 100 cSt at 40 °C and 14 cSt at 100 °C.
Applications high temperature conveyor chain oil
- Industrial transport and drive chains.
- Control and lifting chains.
- Chains in painting equipment.
- Drying tunnels and industrial ovens.
- Textile stenter frames.
- Roller, leaf, Galle, bushing and inverted-tooth chains.
- Sliding and plain guides where the equipment lubrication requirements are met.
Production Advantages Industrial Chain Lubricant
Cleaner chain mechanisms: Reduced carbon buildup helps limit deposit-related operating problems.
Maintenance support: Cleaner lubrication can reduce the maintenance burden associated with accumulated residues.
Wear protection: Anti-wear properties support lubrication of moving chain components.
Potential energy benefit: Limiting deposits that obstruct chain movement can help avoid the associated increase in energy consumption; no quantified saving is claimed.
